Bio - Carl Gouveia Art

Carl Gouveia is a South-American born artist. He first developed an interest in drawing and painting, through his ability to create things with his own hands. Having a strong desire to create more and more things, but having very limited resources in his native Guyana, his passion for art grew stronger. This passion traveled with him to America where he brought his Afro-Caribbean descent to life, with various mediums on canvas, wood ,tile. and digital mediums... Carl received a bachelor degree in fine arts at the School of Visual Art In New York City. Inspired by artist Paul Gauguin work , Carl wanted  to be in a stress free  environment where he can express and  capture the energy and colors of paradise . 1998 Carl  move  to  Hawaii , where he Currently live . Creating beautiful pieces of Art.
